Govt. Naveen Girls College, Gobra-Nawapara, was established in 2021.The college is affiliated to PT. RAVISHANKAR SHUKLA UNIVERSITY RAIPUR.

The college offers UG courses in science (BIO-55 seats with subjects Zoology, Botany & Chemistry and Maths-45 seat with subject Mathematics, Chemistry & physics), Arts (100 seats with subject Sociology, Political science & Geography) and Commerce (90 seats) stream from September 17, 2021.Consisting of 12 teaching, 1 non-teaching staff and three teaching departments. The total number of books in a library is 1000.

There are 184 students registered overall for 2021–2022, 302 for 2022–2023 and 340 for 2023–2024.

It is 45 kilometers from the center of Raipur in Gobra, Nawapara. It is situated on National Highway 130C (Abhanpur to Gariyaband route).
